BARISTA

SRRC cafe is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and organized barista to join the team at our new Town Square location! We are looking for someone who is passionate about the science of brewing coffee and the art of customer relations and who will be ready to work in a fast-paced and fun environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Promotes coffee by educating customers; selling coffee, accessories, and supplies; preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages along with pastries and grab and go food
  • Welcomes customers with a friendly greeting and determining their coffee needs
  • Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies and pastries
  • Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance; and calling for repairs when needed
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations
  • Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and redesigning processes; implementing changes; maintaining and improving the appearance of the store
  • Participating in educational opportunities; reading about coffee, attending online webinars and coffee conferences

BARISTA QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

SUPPORT ROLE

SRRC cafe is looking for a support role to join the team at our new Town Square location! We are looking for someone who is passionate about coffee and customer relations and always provides quick and efficient service with focus and positivity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creates a positive, friendly & courteous customer experience
  • Collaborates with baristas to ensure drinks are correct
  • Registers sales on a cash register with point of sale system and balances cash drawer at the beginning and end of the shift
  • Maintains checkout operations by following policies and procedures and reporting changes if needed
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations
  • Clean tables, restock pastries and to-go drinks
  • Delivers food/beverages to guests, & ensures order is correct
  • Contributes to the team by helping with other tasks as needed

LEAD

  • Trains other team members to ensure quality control across all of our offerings
